WWE Teams up with Panini for the Release of NFT Cards featuring Wrestling Legends

World Wrestling Entertainment is partnering with Panini BlockchainThe non-fungible (NFT) platform from Panini, a global leader in stickers and albums, will introduce NFT trading card featuring WWE superstars.
Announced on a Press releaseOn February 15, the digital cards will highlight more than 100 WWE legends, such as John Cena. “Stone Cold”Steve Austin, Roman Reigns, Finn Balor, and Damian Priest are just a few of the many others.
These cards can be purchased in packs that are labeled as “DonrussElite WWE,”Each pack contains four cards. In addition to purchasing them, collectors are able to participate in challenges in order to gain cards that do not appear in packs. They can also take part in digital crafting to transform common cards into exclusive numbered cards.
This collaboration isn’t WWE’s initial venture into Web3. WWE launched a series NFTs in 2021 featuring renowned wrestler John Cena. In 2022 the company File multiple trademark applicationsIt is expressing its interest in joining the metaverse, and offering NFTs.
