OverpassIP Beta opens IP Licensing to Pudgy Penguins
Pudgy Penguins, the renowned NFT collection featuring adorable flightless birds, has announced the beta version of its IP licensing platform, ‘OverpassIP.’ According to a recent tweet thread, OverpassIP will host Chapter 2 of Pudgy Toys, which are real-life simulation toys based on the Pudgy Penguin IP.
Pudgy Toys Chapter 2 gives NFT owners, especially those with Pudgy Penguins, and Lil Pudgys the opportunity to link their toys with official licenses, earning royalties, and other special perks.

OverpassIP beta is only available for Pudgy Penguins and Lil Pudgys, but the mainnet (actual launch date is not available yet) is aiming to offer more than 200 Pudgy Penguins and Lil Pudgys IPs.
To participate in Chapter 2, NFT Holders will submit their Pudgy Penguin or Lil Pudgy toys on OverpassIP for licensing deals. Submissions are ongoing and will last through February 11th, 2020.
The selection will take place throughout the first quarter of 2024. Note that submission does not guarantee holders of a licensing agreement. In fact, it places their penguins on a list of NFTs to be considered for licensing deals as new SKUs develop.
OverpassIP blogs will provide semi-annual updates to selected participants regarding their licensing status and progress in the production of toys. Additionally, holders of Pudgy Rods who have their penguin in the same wallet may be eligible for an additional Pudgy Rods.
